Most plans will work for a short time as long as you're restricting your calories, but none of them can promise long term weight loss simply because they're too restrictive, too complicated, and too time-consuming and some diet plans can consume your life.

You can obtain quick results if your weight loss plan includes short-term fasting. When fasting is done properly, by combining fasting with weight training, amazing results can be achieved and almost all of the weight loss will come from your body fat! With this combination, you will realize amazing benefits to your metabolism and your muscles, and growth hormone will increase as you force your metabolism to burn stubborn body fat.

It's not difficult to do, nor is it complicated, and it creates the optimal metabolic environment for burning body fat. How short term fasting works is that you fast for one or two non-consecutive 24 hour periods a week and then you are literally free to eat anything you want and still lose tons of weight. One suggestion that works very well is to fast from 6 pm one day until 6 pm the following day and then go ahead and enjoy a regular meal as you resume eating a normal diet of good foods for the rest of the week. Eating healthy is recommended, 'lean and green' with lots of fruits and vegetables, herbs and spices, but you can eat any diet style that you wish and still see fantastic results. After you've fasted for 24 hours a couple of times, you start to see the reasons why you eat, what you eat and when you eat and very often, hunger is not the reason, but rather habit and emotional connection to foods that are the usual culprits.

Now that you have this information, you can make a big difference in the way you eat simply by making SMALL changes in your eating habits. I've tried many weight loss programs but none has given me the amazing results that this plan has and it has worked for me on a sustained basis.
